VIST personality test

Principles of the Visual Implicit Skillster Test

Personality defines in what ways people differ. Genetic disposition and life experience, especially in childhood and adolescence, result in an individual brain function that is relatively stable until the end of life. It determines how we perceive, decide and behave.

Conscious and unconscious - the central systems of the brain

Only about 5-15% of all processes in the brain take place in the regions that enable consciousness. Personality, which results from the entire brain structure, thus must remain unconscious to a large extent, too.

Based on the PSI theory, Julius Kuhl's comprehensive systemic personality theory in the tradition of C.G. Jung, we essentially assume six dimensions for a valid and sustainable personality profile.

Why personality and personality data are so important

Why is personality so important? Because personality is nothing but the individual expression of our brain. It is the filter through which we perceive, decide and act.

Why is our personality data particularly valuable? We are not aware of 80-95% of all processes in the brain. The conscious share of our decisions and actions is comparatively small. The valid data also renders the crucial unconscious aspects of personality visible. Our differentiated test procedures are based on many years of leading research.

The data provides a comprehensive understanding of the personality of applicants and clearly indicates whether they match your vacancy. It explains where you can find your target groups on the net and which type of communication is right for you.

The advantages of VIST

The VIST is based on simple images and measures the predominantly unconscious structure of personality.
Since you cannot know which dimension an image measures, the result cannot be manipulated. Your choice of an image gives a clear indication of your use of the six dimensions. What you like better is a matter of personality. That people have different preferences in the perception of visual stimuli is not exactly news: taste is individual.
The big advantage over a test with linguistic questions is obvious: in contrast to image perception, linguistic expression predominantly occurs consciously. A linguistic test primarily surveys how we think we are. This often corresponds more to our wishes or social expectations others have about us - and less to our predominantly unconscious personality.
